The balance of $250.00 is due when the pedal is completed. Shipping, power supply, vacuum tube insertion and removal tool, and four (4) 12 Av7 vacuum tubes are included in the price. Introducing the Dumpster Fire! Powered by four vintage 12AV7 vacuum tubes, this pedal is Junkbox Amplification's modified and enhanced circuit based on the Valvecaster on steroids!!! If you like the Dumpster Dive, you will love the Dumpster Fire. Each footswitch activates a 12AV7 tube. Activating one of the tubes produces a warm gritty boost that is excellent for rhythm playing and beefing up riffs. Activating a second tube ups the tonal ante for spicing up riffs and leads. Activate a 3rd tube and you start your journey into an uncharted tonal adventure for hot leads and crushing riffs. Activate the 4th tube and take your tone into the stratosphere with face melting tone for any application. The Dumpster Fire features a gain control and volume control for each tube. Play with the settings for both tubes to dial in different tones. Four orange led's are installed at the base of the tube socket and illuminate when each tube is incorporated into the circuit via a foot switch.

This pedal runs on 12 volts DC, power supply included. This pedal is hand drilled and and hand point to point wired (no PCB's) by me one at a time. Since this pedal is point to point wired it is easily repairable when components wear out over time. The control knobs and labels are 3d printed in house. The U-bolt and extension spring tube cage protect the 12AV7 tubes from damage and the design draws its inspiration from early 1900's industrial motif.

The beauty of this circuit is that it also functions well with other tubes in the 9 pin 12XXX family. In addition to 12AU7's, 12AV7's, 12AT7's, 12AY7's, 12BH7's and 12BZ7's all work well in this pedal. This allows the user to try different tube combinations to customize to the desired tone. It is recommended that higher gain tubes be place in sockets 3 and 4 when experimenting with different tube combinations. The differences in using the various tubes listed are subtle but noticeable.
