Suitcase Drum #02

Hand crafted from a vintage Samsonite hard shell suitcase with leather exterior finish. The suitcase interior has been reinforced with 1/4" plywood to enhance structural integrity. A 12" Tom Drum has been installed with an Evan's 12" Tom Head for booming kick drum tone. A vintage 1977 Wyoming license plate has been installed on a wood frame on the face of the suitcase. Snare drum wire have been installed behind the license plate to help approximate the crack of a snare drum when struck by a bass drum pedal beater. A mount for an accessory rod (included) has been installed on the side of the suitcase to change up percussion options. Use the included accessory rod and tambourine or mount other percussion instruments to the accessory rod such as a cowbell or wood block (not included) to change percussion options. Two small pillows are inside the suitcase to provide bass drum dampening. Changing the positioning of the pillows greatly impacts the bass drum thump. On the back side of the drum, two telescoping drum spurs have been installed for stability as well as a 5" port hole. Two hinges have been installed on the underside of the suitcase to provide a fastening means for bass drum pedals of your choice. Bass drum pedals not included.
