Dumpster Dive XL Tube Driven Boost/Overdrive Pedal #01

Introducing the bigger brother of the Dumpster Dive, the Dumpster Dive XL! Powered by two vintage 12SN7 vacuum tubes, this pedal is Junkbox Amplification's modified and enhanced circuit based on the Valvecaster. Each footswitch activates a 12SN7 tube. Activating one of the tubes produces a warm fat gritty boost that is excellent for rhythm playing and beefing up riffs. Activate a second tube for a hot searing tone for lead playing and for taking heavy riffs to the next level! In comparison to the regular Dumpster Dive, the Dumpster Dive XL's tone is fatter yet also articulate. The Dumpster Dive XL features a gain control and volume control for each tube. Play with the settings for both tubes to dial in different tones. Each LED will illuminate when each tube is incorporated into the circuit via a foot switch.

This pedal runs on 12 volts DC, power supply included. This pedal is hand drilled and and hand point to point wired (no PCB's) by me one at a time. Since this pedal is point to point wired it is easily repairable when components wear out over time. The control knobs and labels are 3d printed in house. The U-bolt and extension spring tube cage protect the 12SN7 tubes from damage and the design draws its inspiration from early 1900's industrial motif.
