Introducing the Dumpster Dive XL! Powered by two vintage 12SN7 vacuum tubes, this pedal is Junkbox Amplification's modified and enhanced circuit based on the Valvecaster. Each footswitch activates a 12SN7 tube. Activating one of the tubes produces a warm meaty tone that is excellent for rhythm playing and fattening up riffs. Activate a second tube for an even thicker hotter tone that is excellent for lead playing and taking riffs to another level. The Dumpster Dive features a gain control and volume control for each tube. Play with the settings for both tubes to dial in different tones. Each led are illuminates when a vacuum tube is incorporated into the circuit via a foot switch.
This pedal runs on 12 volts DC, power supply included. This pedal is hand drilled and point to point wired (no PCB's) by me one at a time. Since this pedal is point to point wired it is easily repairable when components wear out over time. The control knobs and labels are 3d printed in house. The U-bolt and extension spring tube cage protect the 12SN7 tubes from damage and the design draws its inspiration from early 1900's industrial motif.
