Filthy Banshee is Junkbox Amplification's best selling model! Tonally similar to Grunge Demon yet with it's own unique fuzz palette, it is rumored that Filthy Banshee's rage is the result of their failed unholy union. Filthy Banshee offers a tone control that can lighten or darken the keening emanating from its accursed speaker. Filthy Banshee is a very popular model because the searing fuzz makes it an outstanding all around performer on lead, riffs, and power chords. Dial back the volume and Filthy Banshee has an articulate tone well suited for melodic double stop work.

Filthy Banshee runs on AC Power or 6 C-Cell Batteries. The power cord tucks neatly into the enclosure. This unit also features a carrying handle that stows conveniently into the unit. Filthy Banshee features 4 mono headphone jack outputs. Use the included Output Control Stompbox to play Filthy Banshee through a guitar amp or PA!

Output Control Stompbox #32:

What does this thing do? I'm glad you asked. Imagine you've dialed in the perfect fuzz or dirt tone on your Junkbox and you want to incorporate this tone into your signal chain and use your Junkbox like an effects pedal. The Junkbox Amplification Output Control Stompbox is the solution to this problem! Plug your guitar into the 1/4" jack labeled "input." Plug your guitar amp into the 1/4" jack labeled "output." Plug the input jack of the Junkbox into the 1/4" jack labeled "S." "S" is short for "Send." Plug the output jack of the Junkbox into the 1/4" jack labeled "R." "R" is short for "Return." Use the footswitch to engage and disengage the Output Control Stompbox. When the LED indicator is illuminated, the Junkbox is incorporated into the signal chain. When the LED indicator is off, the Junkbox is bypassed in the signal chain. Start with the volume knob off (all the way to the left) and dial in an appropriate volume to match the volume when the Junkbox is bypassed in the signal chain. Now you're ready to rock, it's that simple! Only recommended for use with a Junkbox and not intended for any other purpose.
