Junkbox #70 and Output Control Stompbox #40 Package
Junkbox #70
This is vintage 1990's era boombox has been converted to a lofi guitar amp! If you like lofi tone then you will love Junkbox #70! The fuzz is a gnarly and raunchy lofi sonic assault with tone as hot as an arc welder and cutting like a buzz saw. The AM/FM radio is fully functional. A toggle switch has been installed in the back of the Junkbox #70. This toggle switch kills the internal speaker and send the audio signal to a 1/4" output jack. A potentiometer has also been installed to control the output level of the 1/4" output jack if you wanted to run Junkbox #70 through a PA or another amp.
Output Control Stompbox #40 (blue led indicator):
What does this thing do? I'm glad you asked. Imagine you've dialed in the perfect fuzz or dirt tone on your Junkbox and you want to incorporate this tone into your signal chain and use your Junkbox like an effects pedal. The Junkbox Amplification Output Control Box is the solution to this problem! Plug your guitar into the 1/4" jack labeled "input." Plug your guitar amp into the 1/4" jack labeled "output." Plug the input jack of the Junkbox into the 1/4" jack labeled "S." "S" is short for "Send." Plug the output jack of the Junkbox into the 1/4" jack labeled "R." "R" is short for "Return." Use the footswitch to engage and disengage the Output Control Stompbox. When the LED indicator is illuminated, the Junkbox is incorporated into the signal chain. When the LED indicator is off, the Junkbox is bypassed in the signal chain. Start with the volume knob off (all the way to the left) and dial in an appropriate volume to match the volume when the Junkbox is bypassed in the signal chain. Now you're ready to rock, it's that simple! Only recommended for use with a Junkbox and not intended for any other purpose.
